Expectant mothers have a lot to pray for. They are carrying life inside of them, and they want their baby to be healthy and strong. Here are several prayers for expectant mothers to help them through their pregnancy and the next season they will have with their little ones.
Remember, prayer is powerful and can make a huge difference in our lives. And when we pray, we want to make sure our prayers are personal and from the heart. So, I encourage you to take these prayers and add a personal touch to them. You can do this by including names and other personal information that would be helpful to mention to the Lord.
Since I don’t know if you are praying for an expectant mother or if you yourself are an expectant mother wanting some prayers to pray. I have added two sections. The first section is for those wanting to pray for those who are pregnant, and the second will be for those future mommas.

Lord, I lift up (insert name). I pray You will bless her in this time as she prepares to be a mother. I thank You, Lord, for knitting this child in her womb. I ask that You would give this child good health, strength, and a deep understanding of Your love. I pray that her pregnancy will go smoothly, free from complications or other obstacles that could cause issues. I pray this in the name of Jesus, amen.
Heavenly Father, I pray for (insert name) and her unborn child. Lord, I ask that you cover them both with Your grace and protection. I thank You for the gift of life inside her body and ask that You would guide this baby as he/she grows in the womb. I pray for good health for momma and baby, for peace, strength, happiness, and safety throughout their pregnancy. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
Lord God, I thank You for (insert name) and this precious baby she is carrying. I pray for her to feel Your presence and love in a real, tangible way during this time. Give her the grace to rest when she needs it most, and bless her with wisdom on how to take care of herself and her child. Prayers for Expectant Mothers To Pray For Themselves
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. - Psalm 127:3-5
Lord, thank You for the miracle of new life growing inside me. I ask that You would give me strength and courage throughout my pregnancy. Help me to stay focused on You and Your Word as I prepare to become a mother. Protect my baby and me, and help us stay healthy as this baby grows in my womb. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life you have given me with this little one. As I am preparing to bring new life into the world, please give me wisdom and grace to handle this journey of motherhood. Guide my steps and give me strength to be the best momma I can be. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
