7 Bible Study Software For PC and MAC

Looking for Bible Study Software doesn’t have to be hard. Check out these 7 Bible programs for both PC and Mac.

Are you looking for some great Bible study software or programs? When it comes to studying the Bible, things have really changed. Not that long ago you would have a tower of Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, and concordances…just to name a few.

Now you don’t have to fill up half of your library or break your back carrying these awesome books to your desk. Sayonara, chiropractic bills!

You seriously can get endless resources all on your computer, and it’s a blessing. Doesn’t matter if you are using this for personal study or if you are in the ministry.

These programs are great to take your Bible study time to the next level.

The one thing you do need to be aware of is that these do cost and if you are on a tight budget you might have to pass or save up. In the next coming weeks, I will be sharing with you all some free online options.

Bible Study Programs

Below you will find Bible Study programs and software that work for PC and with Mac. I know sometimes it’s hard to find something for the platform you use. Especially if you are using a MAC.

Here are two handy little graphics with a list of Bible Software for each platform. You can pin them to your Bible board on Pinterest for quick referencing.

Accordance

Platform: MAC, Windows, IOS, Android

I am a personal fan of Accordance. I’ve had it for the past 6-7 years. It does require a learning curve, but overall a great software. You can buy the starter bundle and from there buy different packages if you like.

Logos Bible Software

Platform: MAC, Windows, IOS, Android

I have heard from a lot of people who love and adore Logos. I will say Logos and Accordance are the top two most popular Bible study software out there.

Olivetree

Platform: MAC, Windows, IOS, Android

Olivetree is an extremely popular app on smartphones, but it’s more than just Bible reading app. Olivetree is not just for your phone or tablet. You can even get it on your laptop and the base software is free! If you want to add more books you will have to purchase them.

QuickVerse 10 Deluxe

Platfrom: Windows (XP, Vista, 7)

Not going to lie, I’m a little surprised this guy is still around. I guess if you have an older PC this can be an option for you. 

But it is impressive with how much content they give you…

Wordsearch software is made by LifeWay. That should be a good indicator that this software is going to have the goods. Wordsearch like Accordance had extra packages you can pick and add on.

SwordSearcher 8.0

Platform: Windows 

SwordSearcher is in a great price range and they even give you a 30-day trial. If you are not a big fan of buying “extra” bundles and want something all-inclusive then this just might fit the bill!
