A Prayer for Family Love and Unity

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of family; for dad, mom, brother and sister, nieces and nephews, uncles and aunties, grandpa and grandma. I pray for Your love to dwell always among us and to unite us as a family. I ask Lord that we will learn to care for one another. Teach us to forgive one another when we are wronged just as You always forgive us our trespasses. May we not grow weary of doing good to others as a family Father.

In our uniqueness may we all reflect Your love. Draw our family together, help us to respect one another and to support one another in every way possible. Lord Jesus, teach us to be happy for others when they win and encourage one another to become better versions of ourselves. A Prayer for Family to Stay United during Difficult Times

Gracious Father, I am grateful for every good thing, time and season we have enjoyed in this family. I also thank You for this season we are going through. It is easy to stick together when everything is working out well for all of us but sometimes when one of us is going through a hard time like now, we tend to alienate ourselves. Loving Father, I thank You for my family or what is supposed to be my family. I understand that this is not what You have in mind for a family and though people in a family may have their differences, there is nothing more important than family. I know that nothing is broken beyond repair to You. So I pray for my family asking for Your intervention in bringing our family back together. God, You are a God of miracles and restoration and You are able to restore any broken thing.

I pray that You may restore our broken relationship. Lord Jesus, where there has been hurt I pray for healing; help us to let go of any pride and ask for forgiveness where we are wrong.
